Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year scrub experience required. License: NC or Compact license required. Certifications: BLS and ARRT required. ARRT Advanced Certification preferred. Must-Have: Minimum of 1 year scrub experience, including neuro experience. Traveler experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted. Skills required include vascular studies/procedures, neuro experience, inpatient hospital experience, PACS, and contrast administration. Experience with all interventional radiology procedures, including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, and more. Experience with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment is required. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO may lead to cancellation. The expected start date is based on the schedule but is subject to change depending on training availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week. Travelers must remain fully available Monday through Friday of the first week to accommodate potential schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. No RTO is allowed during the first week of a traveler's assignment due to orientation. The expected daily case load is 13-17. The candidate must possess skills in both neuro and body procedures. Weekend and evening/night on-call rotation required. Candidates must be comfortable floating based on job description and unit needs. All candidates need to work two out of three major holidays. Travel pairs are allowed but must be submitted and work on different units. Charting experience in Epic is preferred. Two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months are highly preferred. Travelers cannot work more than five days in a row or more than 60 hours in a week. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually, and hours may vary by specialty.
