Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $3,637 per week in San Francisco, CA

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Inpatient Rehab Duration: 16 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours (08:00 - 18:30) Experience: Minimum 1 Year Inpatient Rehab Experience License: State PT License Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: IRF-PAI Experience Description: ASAP starts for physical therapists with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per month. Open to additional hours based on availability. Candidates must have a Doctoral Degree in PT or a Bachelor's Degree if graduated over 15 years ago. Willingness and ability to float to other facilities as needed is required. Candidates must have experience working in an acute rehabilitation unit with adult and senior populations. Key competencies include working with patients with orthopedic, cardiac, neurologic, and general medical/surgical diagnoses. Preferred candidates will also have knowledge of and experience in an acute care hospital setting across various levels of acuity. This role involves providing rehabilitation services to help patients improve their physical abilities and achieve their rehabilitation goals. The therapist will be responsible for patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and their families. Flexibility in scheduling is important, with required weekend shifts. The candidate should possess strong communication and time management skills to ensure effective patient care. Experience with adaptive devices and rehabilitation techniques is essential. The ability to monitor and assess vital signs and implement safety measures is also required. Qualified candidates will be expected to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
