The role involves preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments and supply trays for various procedures. The average daily tray volume is 700, with approximately 80 types of cases required. The facility operates 72 operating rooms and caters to a wide variety of surgical specialties including trauma, cardiac, neuro, ortho, ENT, vascular, transplant, and robotics. Candidates must have experience in an acute care hospital setting and demonstrate proficiency in aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures. Experience with preferred washers and sterilizers is a plus. This position does not require on-call availability. Travelers will float within their scope of care as required to meet facility needs. Candidates should adhere to hospital policies including restrictions on personal devices during shifts. A valid state license is necessary at the time of application; candidates may submit without a license in hand, but a license is required for specific states.
