Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Profession: Cath Lab Technician Specialty: Cath Lab Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 3 years of recent experience required License: Current MA License as Radiology Tech Certifications: ARRT Certification, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - ARRT Certification - Interventional Cardiac experience - PCI experience - Scrub experience - EPIC experience Description: The position involves working in a Cardiac Catheterization and EP lab. The lab consists of 2 rooms equipped for PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations. The traveler must secure housing within 30 minutes of the location to fulfill on-call obligations. The patient population primarily consists of adults. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC - cupid. The equipment utilized includes Toshiba X-Ray. Floating to Interventional Radiology may be required. Responsibilities include scrubbing for device implants, lead revisions, and ablations.
