Our Radio Development R&D Team is looking for a motivated junior hardware digital predistortion engineer to be a part of a team involved in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of 5G/6G cellular base stations.
Responsibilities
- Advance DPD algorithms to improve modeling accuracy and handle dynamic PA behavior.
- Collaborate with HW teams to ensure DPD requirements are met across the entire radio loop.
- Select and integrate the appropriate DPD engine for each radio product.
- Develop and implement production-grade DPD software on radio hardware.
- Test and verify DPD performance and hardware robustness under static and dynamic conditions.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering with a foundation in DSP and numerical linear algebra.
- Experience in modeling nonlinear systems and RF power amplifiers.
- Knowledge of RF circuits, systems, and modern wireless communication technologies.
- Skilled in data analysis and visualization; proficient in Matlab, Python, C++, and Git.
- Familiarity with 3GPP and FCC standards.
- Exposure to FPGA or ASIC development.
Nice to have
- Previous Nokia intern or co-op experience.
