Position Summary

Want to make a lot of people’s day? Our Member Frontline Cashier Associates are the heart of our front end. You play a major role in how our members feel in the club and when they leave. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate that our members interact with. We are looking for friendly faces to run registers and support our members through the self-checkout experience. The pace can be fast, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during a holiday season. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members: scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean area. It’s hard work, but our cashiers find it rewarding as part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members
• Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club, answer questions
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Assist with transactions using registers or self-checkout and support members with payments and memberships
• Assist with locating merchandise, answering member questions, and guiding self-service technology

What you will do

• Maintain facility safety according to company policies and procedures; conduct safety sweeps; follow hazardous materials procedures
• Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assist with purchasing decisions; resolve issues and concerns
• Promote company products/services and support member self-service technology
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; manage priorities and deadlines; adapt to change

Qualifications

• Customer service experience; retail experience including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register)
• Working with mobile retail applications
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
