Overview

The Member Frontline Cashier Associates are the heart of our front end. You may be the first, last, and sometimes only associate our members interact with. That’s why it’s important to smile, greet, and thank each and every member. We are looking for friendly faces to run registers and support our members through the self-checkout experience. The pace can be fast, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during a holiday season. There are times when you have to juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members: scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean area. It’s hard work, but our cashiers find it rewarding as part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members
• Providing exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Assisting members with transactions utilizing registers or self-checkout area; processing member purchases and payments according to company policies
• Assisting with locating merchandise and organizing the sales floor; zoning the area
• Following safety procedures and complying with company policies; reporting unsafe conditions

Qualifications

• Customer Service experience, retail experience including operating front end equipment (for example, a cash register)
• Working with mobile retail applications
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Premiums may be paid in certain circumstances based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if eligible.
