Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed. Location: 1645 Hwy 412 W, Siloam Springs, AR.

Job Title: Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant at Arvest assists with running the bank or division’s business with limited supervision from a defined executive member of management. The Assistant provides administrative and operational support by acting as a gatekeeper concerning various areas of the company, handling more complex situations and assisting in multiple projects based on the immediate needs of the business. This position impacts the bank’s image, internal morale, respect, and external perception of bank integrity. The Executive Assistant maintains confidentiality and professionally interacts with management, associates, customers, and the public.

What You’ll Do at Arvest:

  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and presentation by executives, committees, and board of directors.
  • Conserve the executive’s time by routing correspondence, drafting letters and documents, collecting and analyzing information, planning long or short-term business objectives, handling complaints and initiating telecommunications, such as answering emails and any other types of correspondence on behalf of the executive.
  • Assist with drafting communications to key strategic members and setting agendas for upcoming meetings.
  • Represent the executive by attending meetings in the executive’s absence and relaying information on behalf of the executive.
  • Provide direct administrative and office management support to all management team members, as directed.
  • Coordinate logistics and arrange management, committee, board, and other meetings/events.
  • Interpret administrative and operating policies and procedures for associates.
  • Review operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements can be made in workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures.
  • Manage and maintain the executive’s schedule and calendar by planning meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel while exercising discretion in committing the executive’s time. May arrange schedules and appointments of other staff members.
  • Greet visitors and answer calls to determine whether they should be given access to specific individuals and take messages when necessary.
  • May represent the executive in meetings and/or events that do not require their direct participation.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank’s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

May directly supervise 1 or more associates as assigned by the Manager. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Required Toolbox for Success:

  • Associate degree in business or management or equivalent work or military experience.
  • 3 years of Administrative Support or Banking/Industry experience (or a combination of both).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace applications.
  • Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Preferred Toolbox:

  • Arvest experience.

Grade 15 Pay Range:$60980 – $72409 per year
