Summary:
The Production Supervisor monitors production schedules to ensure targets are met, analyzes daily KPIs for trends, and escalates issues promptly. This role ensures adherence to quality and safety standards, supports the resolution of escalated production issues, audits processes, and provides coaching to Department Supervisors to balance operational and leadership responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Monitors production schedules and ensures adherence to targets. Verifies front line supervisors are updating production boards and escalating issues timely. Reviews and analyzes daily KPIs for trends and abnormalities.
• Monitors production for adherence to quality standards. Collaborates with Quality and Team Leads to document quality standards.
• Adheres to SST environmental health and safety standards. Notifies production manager of issues and works with EHS to resolve reported issues.
• Adheres to financial parameters.
• Provides support to resolve production issues that Department Supervisors escalate.
• Audits standard work, KPIs, and quality items.
• Provides coaching to Department Supervisors and supports their balance of operational and leadership duties.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma required.
• Three to five years of manufacturing experience.
• Lean Manufacturing Experience - preferred

Competencies:

• Production Oversight and Efficiency: Ability to monitor and manage production schedules, ensure adherence to targets, and identify trends or abnormalities through KPI analysis to maintain smooth operations.
• Quality Management: Proficient in collaborating with team leads and quality departments to document and enforce quality standards, while ensuring consistent adherence throughout production processes.
• Problem-Solving and Escalation Management: Skilled at addressing and resolving production issues escalated by Department Supervisors, while ensuring timely communication and collaboration with the Production Manager and relevant teams.
• Leadership and Coaching: Capability to mentor and support Department Supervisors, balancing their operational responsibilities with leadership development to enhance team performance.
• Safety and Compliance Focus: Commitment to enforcing environmental health and safety standards, addressing safety concerns proactively, and collaborating with EHS teams to resolve reported issues effectively.
