Overview

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Duration: 12 months - position (may go longer)

Location: Detroit, MI

Standard Shift: Group Leader generally assembly production. Shift will rotate every 3 to 4 months.

Schedule: Monday-Friday; Saturdays are a possibility (2 out of 3 Saturdays may be worked).

1st shift: 5:30am-3:00pm

2nd shift: 3:30pm-1:00am

Emergency Contact: Will depend on the shift leader.

Pay range: $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr (base pay range provided by Acro Service Corp; actual pay depends on skills and experience)

Responsibilities

• The main function of a production supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
• Recommend measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
• Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
• Demonstrate analytical mindset and multitasking capabilities.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
