Greene Resources is seeking a Production Supervisor to join a growing and dynamic team.

Job Details

  • Location: Winston-Salem, NC
  • Pay: $80,000 to $85,000/year + $5,000 sign on bonus
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of production supervisor experience in a fast-paced manufacturing industry (preferably food, beverage, or pharmaceutical).
  • Education: Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
  • Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (2-2-3 schedule), on-call when needed.

Job Description

  • Supervise, motivate, and provide direction to production line personnel.
  • Enforce policies and procedures, including OSHA and safety standards.
  • Prepare start-up procedures, set up equipment, and ensure workstation readiness.
  • Review production schedules, set production codes, and schedule employee hours and breaks.
  • Monitor machinery to ensure proper operation, log downtime, and address defective materials.
  • Coordinate flavor changes, tank switches, line changes, and ensure quality control.
  • Ensure raw materials are available for production runs.
  • Communicate with maintenance, quality control, and previous shift supervisors regarding production status.
  • Learn and oversee operation of production line equipment and forklifts.
  • Provide leadership during employee relief, shutdowns, and other production-related needs.

Position Requirements

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and production standards.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, numerical aptitude, and P&L spreadsheet experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
