Position

Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Mebane, NC

Pay: $75,000/year

Experience: Prior experience leading and motivating a production team, ideally in an FDA-regulated environment.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Night Shift, 6:30pm to 7:00am (2,2,3 schedule)

Company: Greene Resources is seeking a Production Supervisor to join a growing and dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the production team on the assigned shift (approx. 15 people) and oversee daily production activities in the dough room, bakery, and packaging areas.
• Ensure daily KPIs for safety, quality, scrap, and production are met or exceeded.
• Adjust schedules at the start of the shift to address unforeseen absences and to coordinate team member rotations.
• Develop and implement training plans for new operators.
• Monitor machine operations and intervene when necessary.
• Verify that inspection tasks and documentation are completed.
• Report on daily shift performance and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain clear communication with the shift supervisors, operators, and technicians.
• Approve or decline PTO requests for shift personnel.
• Write reports regarding employee behavior or customer complaints.
• Provide continuous coaching and support for operator development.

Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging equipment preferred.
• Previous experience with inspections and/or quality control.
• Knowledge of food processing and baking practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of equipment operation and mechanical components.
• Ability to perform duties in compliance with GMP/FSMA food hygiene practices.
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Outlook).
• Basic math skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
