Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Position
As the Production Coordinator at Natori, you will oversee the end-to-end production process, ensuring product integrity from the showroom samples through to bulk production. In this role, you will manage production timelines and drive efficiency across operations. You will work in close partnership with cross-functional teams including Design, Technical Design, Product Development, E-commerce and Sales to deliver high-quality products on time and to company standard.
Production Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of aesthetic and technical understanding of Natori’s customers to achieve the highest quality in our products.
- Work cross functionally with Product Development, Sales and Ecommerce departments.
- Create, update, and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system. Issue purchase orders to overseas factories.
- Receive initial costing from factory, enter data into the costing grid, input Natori’s suggested retail cost, and negotiate with factories to achieve optimal margins.
- Build and maintain the production WIP grid. Proactively communicate with factories to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Collaborate with factories to create Time and Action calendars with achievable dates.
- Review customer compliance guides for updated production requirements for orders.
- Lead weekly production meetings to review timelines, address challenges, and align cross-functional teams and factory partners.
- Streamline production process by tracking samples (fit/PP/TOP) and supporting the Technical Design team in prioritizing approvals to meet delivery deadlines. Assist Sales in coordinating AD sample requests with factory that require using bulk fabric.
- Approve all bulk submits for production in partnership with Design and PD
- Partner with Product development on quality control and take the lead in ensuring all garments are finished to company standards.
- Follow up with fabric and garment testing to ensure all tests are approved prior to shipping.
- Partner with Sales on fabric recaps with the factory to maximize efficiency in production.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory of replenishment fabric at the factory based on the monthly Sales demand and partnering with the factory to achieve the requested delivery dates.
- Communicate to Sales about any production-related delays, shortages, or overages.
- Coordinate with the factories to determine which styles are transported via boat verses air with Sales approval.

Requirements
- 5+ years of wholesale production experience preferably in the apparel industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, various software and technology
- Excellent follow-up, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Business, Supply Chain or related field
Salary range is $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 based on experience.
