Our Production team is expanding and looking to add a Production Supervisor. We are seeking a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage the shift and all direct staff to ensure smooth running of the production process
• Ensure products are produced to specified specifications and that targets and deadlines are met
• Ensure direct staff comply with the company’s Health and Safety procedures
• Report daily workshop indicators to the plant manager and manage operations
• Arrange workshop internal production according to production orders
• Implement workshop contingency plans in case of emergencies
• Supervise and inspect pre-production preparations, labor discipline, work quality, production safety, and adherence to major operating instructions
• Oversee workshop production quality and cost, and control indicators to meet company requirements
• Enforce company management rules, and brief on production, quality, and labor discipline
• Coordinate analysis and improvement of difficult problems, track performance, and provide feedback
• Conduct statistical analysis, develop improvement measures, and track performance when indicators are abnormal
• Coordinate daily workshop routines and complete workshop inventory
• Develop and organize post-training and multi-post development plans, and track results
• Monitor 6s and workshop security to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe working environment
• Participate in activities to improve quality, eliminate waste, and reduce costs
• Monitor environmental factors, risk factors, hazards, and their controls
• Supervise workshop material safety data sheets
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a leadership/supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma or above
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work in any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
• Pro-active in leading a manufacturing group
• Able to work different hours and shifts as needed
