Responsibilities
- Production Management (60%)
- Oversee the end-to-end production process from manuscript to final print production for AP Access team materials, including Instructional Services team materials, Pre-AP Course Framework, Teacher and Student Resources, and Outreach team educator materials.
- Develop and manage production schedules.
- Ensure quality control and consistency across all published materials.
- Resolve production issues that arise during the process.
- Manage permissions schedule and process for instructional material development.
- Manage digital production of all assets to the AP Professional Learning Platform.
- Inventory Management (30%)
- Manage product inventory to ensure current resources are available in store and for AP Professional Learning.
- Coordinate with the Catalog Request team for new item numbers or updates.
- Manage ordering process for materials for AP Summer Institutes.
- Coordinate training on the ordering process for endorsed sites.
- Maintain current version of materials for Professional Learning/Consultant Management and International teams.
- Manage access to student samples from the AP Reading team.
- Vendor Management (10%)
- Establish strong relationships with print vendors to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Coordinate electronic files and updates to vendors; handle shipping issues or escalations.
- Document processes and implement automation where possible.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of print and digital production experience, with a proven track record in large-scale educational content delivery.
- Experience managing end-to-end project deliverables.
- Proven ability in digital asset development.
- Advanced proficiency in print production tools and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and planning skills, with high attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and team collaboration skills; ability to work independently under deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
