Position Description: Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Stand Up Forklift Operator in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Operate stand-up forklifts and support the safe, accurate handling of products
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks
• Work with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator's license/certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a diverse environment and build professional relationships at all levels
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with good attendance
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
• High level of accuracy, even under pressure
• Physical ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
