• Unit: HFM Psych Unit St. Michaels
• Start Date: October 1, 2025 (Orientation: 10/1 or 10/15)
• End Date: December 27, 2025
• Shift: 8-hour evening shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40 hours (32-hour guarantee)
• Duration: 12-week nursing contract
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,220 - $2,270
• On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Massachusetts RN license (permanent MA nursing license required at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a psychiatric nurse or in mental health nursing
• Current and valid BLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment, psychiatric care, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Psychiatric RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the psychiatric unit
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions
• Administer psychiatric medications and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other mental health professionals
• Provide emotional support, mental health education, and resources to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
