- Location: Pasco, WA 99301 – Tri-Cities region, renowned for riverfronts, outdoor recreation, and direct access to major U.S. cities
- Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital (CAH), 25 beds, 6 modern OR suites
- Position Type: Locum tenens (Travel nursing contract)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 8, 2025 – December 8, 2025)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour day shifts)
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Call: Post-shift call once per week; one weekend call per month (Friday–Monday)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200–$2250
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license (required for all nursing jobs in WA)
- Minimum 2 years of intraoperative circulating experience as an OR RN
- Proficiency with DaVinci, Mako, and Globus surgical robots for on-call cases
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- CNOR certification preferred (Certified Nurse Operating Room)
- Previous scrubbing experience highly recommended
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment
OR RN Responsibilities
- Circulate and assist in diverse surgical procedures: General, GYN, Orthopedics (total joints), Neuro/Ortho Spine, Urology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, and Dental
- Operate and support surgeons with advanced surgical robotics (DaVinci Xi, Globus Spine Robot, Mako Total Joint Robot)
- Maintain 1:1 patient care ratios in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes
- Document intraoperative care using paper charting and Meditech EMR systems
- Participate in scheduled post-shift and weekend call rotations
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including charge nurses, OR schedulers, and surgical technologists
- Float to Sterile Processing Department (SPD) as needed
- Adhere to hospital policies, dress code (hospital laundered scrubs, disposable hair covering, booties), and uphold professional nursing standards
