• Healthcare Setting: Internal Medicine/Telemetry Unit (Med/Surg Tele)
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens, Travel Registered Nurse
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (potential extension up to 16 weeks)
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 12, 2026
• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week (Day: 7:00am–7:30pm, Night: 7:00pm–7:30am; rotation typically 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,250 - $2,310

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments
• Recent 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (travel nursing experience accepted)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active, not pending)
• One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in telemetry or med/surg
• Ability to work at least every other holiday as required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Internal Medicine/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and clinical support initiatives
• Float to other hospital units as needed to support operational needs
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
