Trauma RN Job Details

• Location: Englewood, CO 80113 (10th Floor)
• Unit: Step-Down/PCU, Multi-Trauma (20 beds)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7P – 7A)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1470 - $1570
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing

Trauma RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado or compact state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent trauma, PCU, or step-down nursing experience
• Proficient in managing chest tubes, trauma patients, tracheostomies, and suction
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to thrive in a high-acuity healthcare setting

Trauma RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to trauma and step-down/PCU patients
• Monitor and manage patients with chest tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators
• Perform bedside procedures, including chest tube placement and bronchoscopies
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and clinical support staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Foster a positive, motivated, and supportive healthcare team environment
