Summary

Order Picker C level employees accurately pull orders to meet the customer’s requirements in a timely and efficient manner. Picking basic orders by fork truck or pallet jack and manually floor loading full trucks or unloading inbound containers. Order picker C level can also assume shipping dock desk role if needed, in order to maintain JDA WMS system.

Primary Responsibilities

• Accurately pulling daily assigned orders in manner that meets customer’s requirement via fork truck or pallet jack
• Correct pallet selections
• Proper labeling
• Accurate product selection
• Floor Load Outbound shipments
• Familiar with RF Scanners to pick basic orders out of WMS System
• Unload inbound freight
• Meet efficiency requirements while performing tasks
• Follow all required safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge And Skill Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
• Material handling/order picking experience preferred
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Attentive to details and numbers
• Forklift certification is a plus but not a requirement
• Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions
• Manuel dexterity required operating machinery
• Strong work ethic
• Cooperative demeanor when performing assigned tasks
