About the Role
We seek a Night Shift Production Supervisor – Conversion at Celgard Concord.
Reporting Relationships
This role reports directly to the Production Manager and supervises manufacturing technicians.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage operational aspects of Deply, Slitting, Testing, Pack-Out, and Backwinding areas.
- Lead safety initiatives; ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Plan, organize, supervise, and schedule resources within policies and budgets.
- Assist in hiring and onboarding new employees.
- Optimize production processes; monitor key indicators for cost, material, and downtime control.
- Manage employee performance and development.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues affecting yield and equipment utilization.
- Maintain shift measures, conduct reporting and audits, and ensure SOP compliance.
- Foster positive working relationships and continuous improvement.
- Lead safety, housekeeping, and quality initiatives with team members.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, supervisory experience required.
- Experience in a 24/7 environment preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong math, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Work Environment
Manufacturing plant environment, primarily in a climate-controlled clean room, with standing and walking for 10-12 hours. Includes stairs and steps. Shifts are 12 hours, 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am, on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Celgard sites are IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certified.
