Job Description

Summary

Support the Quality Engineer and all Inverter activities, representing the quality function of technical support in conjunction with other internal support groups, regarding issues affecting manufacturing on global customer accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Follow up on NPI production builds such as ECN confirmation, build summary data collection, etc.
2. Handle production line incidents such as non-conformance, MRB, FAI, line audits, etc.
3. Prepare quality and product documents based on customer requirements.
4. Provide guidance and coaching to Quality Control inspectors to enhance their product quality decision-making.
5. Interface with and provide technical support on quality issues with the customer as needed.
6. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
7. Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
8. Perform additional tasks as needs change.

Minimum Requirements

1. High School Diploma or GED preferred; not required, or equivalent experience with 2-3 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Must have IPC-610 certification, which is critical.
3. Familiarity with the boxbuild process.
4. Must be open and flexible to work occasional weekends.
