48forty Solutions is hiring: Forklift Operator - Pallet Sorter in Sanger

Overview

As a Forklift Operator - Pallet Sorter, you’ll move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse to support production requirements, and you will load and unload customer trailers. You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site.

Hourly Pay: $19.00/hr.

Shift

3rd Shift: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 4:00am – 4:00pm

4th Shift: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 10:00am – 10:00pm

2120 N. Stemmons St., Sanger, TX 76266

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to the appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Operate forklifts with care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand-sort wooden pallets when required
• Repair wooden pallets using a nail gun when required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred
• 1-3 years of forklift experience
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willing to work overtime as needed
