Caregiver/HHA role at The Homestead at Anoka, part of Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS).
Compensation: $18.00/hr - $23.60/hr (benefit options and based on years of experience); Pay in Lieu option available.

Responsibilities (Essentials)
- Assists residents with activities of daily living.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Documentation of cares given and pertinent observations. Reports any observations to the nurse.
- Assists with ambulation, transfers and exercise.
- Reports any suspected abuse or neglect per facility policy.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be eighteen (18) years old or older at start date of employment.
- Ability to read, write and carry out directions.
- Ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgment.
- Dependability, tact, and ability to follow orders.
- Customer service oriented.
- Coordination and dexterity to provide resident care skillfully.
- Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an Assisted Living Facility or Memory Care.
- CPR Certification.
