Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Medication Reminders: Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules and support clients in managing their medication routines.
- Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements; monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
- Companionship and Social Interaction: Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship; accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in clients\' health status to the care team; document care provided and any notable observations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.
