Job Description

WAREHOUSE SANITATION from the Company UNFI, located in Sarasota, FL, United States. This vacancy is appropriate for candidates with a High School Diploma or equivalent. The position is in the Warehouse field.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation of the distribution center (approximately 75% of duties).
• Operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers; vacuum and mop floors; dust and wash walls, doors, and windows; empty trash.
• Assist with minor preventative maintenance and minor repairs; report major repair needs.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience
• Required knowledge: Understands safety guidelines; ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers
• Experience: Warehouse/operations preferred but not required
• Skills/abilities: Understands procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a broader understanding of processes
