Summary

Join our team as a Production Associate. We’re looking for dedicated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Production Associate, you’ll play a crucial role in various aspects of the production line processing poultry product, including working with cooked products. Typical assignments may include packing, bagging, palletizing, stack off, and/or overwrap. Usually works five to six days a week; overtime may be required based on production needs. This position has a base rate of $17.00 per hour, with opportunities for pay premiums, shift differentials, attendance bonus and overtime where applicable. Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Works at various stations along the production line boxing packaged product.
• Operates machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Inspects poultry products for quality and consistency.
• Packages and labels finished products accurately and efficiently.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to uphold food safety standards.
• Collaborates with team members to achieve production targets.
• High school or equivalent is not required but preferred.

Experience Preferred

• Experience in protein processing/manufacturing preferred.
• 6 months of steady work history is preferred.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

• Ability to tolerate exposure to wet and moist floors and to stand for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs by reaching, bending, and pushing.
• Ability to wear PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, steel toe shoes and ear protection as required.
• May work in temperatures between 28 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit; product temperatures between 25 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
• May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db and to dust and chemicals used in poultry processing facilities.
• Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors (10 ppm) and chlorine (<20 ppm).
