As a Production Engineer, you will monitor overall equipment effectiveness and implement improvements with the highest return on product quality, machine uptime and production rate. You will also identify improvements in operating, maintenance and quality procedures, and training programs. This role is important to support production in planning, managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions.

Responsibilities:
- Order management and invoicing integrity to satisfy customer service standards and internal
- Implement machine improvements that promote product quality, production rate and machine reliability
- Recommend and implement machine and equipment modifications to enhance product quality, reliability, and throughput.
- Analyze production costs, recommending changes to improve profitability.
- Support capital justification efforts by preparing ROI and cost-benefit analyses for improvement projects.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI tools to reduce waste, improve process flow, and increase efficiency
- Promote and assist EHS with Teslin operator safety programs and participation.
- Support EHS department initiatives and to provide feedback.
- Assist production with new hire and refresher training unit operation specific training
- Participate in Departmental Coverage Rotation, and occasionally serve as back-up to Department Supervisors or Operations Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, mechanical or chemical engineering field preferred
- 5+ years of maintenance or manufacturing experience in an industrial environment
- Experience with Lean / Six Sigma is highly desired
- Knowledge or experience with Foxboro and Allen Bradley controls a plus.
