Job Description

Our client is a global leader in their manufacturing sector. They are looking for a Production Manager to join their leadership team at their facility outside of Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in a food or chemical manufacturing setting with at least a year of supervision.

As a Production Manager, job responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage a team of direct and indirect reports totaling 20 employees
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Continuously improve processes and production
• Become a technical expert for the site

Job Requirements

As a Production Manager, job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 6+ years of experience as a Production/Process Engineer in a chemical/food manufacturing environment
• Minimum 1 year of operations management or supervision experience
• Ideal candidates will have experience in continuous chemical processes
• Any continuous improvement experience is a plus (Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, etc)
