Operating Room RN Job Details

- Shift: 8-hour day shifts (07:00 – 15:30)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Call Requirement: Evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,380–$2,550 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Open to training in ENT, cataract, and C-section procedures (prior experience not required)
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients of all ages (infant to geriatric)
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary surgical team, including RNs, registered nurse first assists, CSTs, and support staff
- Assist in a range of surgical procedures: orthopedic, trauma, ENT, cataract removal, and C-sections
- Maintain a 1:1 RN-to-patient ratio in the operating room
- Participate in on-call rotation for evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulatory standards
