Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, directs and guides patient/family teaching, and supervises other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptoms. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintenance
• Critical Care Course completion preferred
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
• Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintenance
• Minimum one year as a staff RN in acute or critical care hospital
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Estimated compensation for this role is $50.00 to $60.00 per hour, specific to Illinois. The final offer will consider factors like experience, education, and credentials.
