Neuro ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Memphis, TN 38104
• Unit: Neuro Critical Care Unit (Neuro ICU)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Dates: 10/6/2025, 10/20/2025, or 11/3/2025
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens)
• On-site Position
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro ICU RN experience with prior travel nursing assignment, or 3 years of recent Neuro ICU experience if no travel experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state (NLC compliant)
• Current BLS certification (Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the Memphis healthcare facility (strict requirement)
• First-time travel nurses accepted only with 3 years of recent Neuro ICU experience
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• At least 1 completed previous travel nurse assignment preferred
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill neurological patients in the Neuro ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced neurological assessments
• Float between similar critical care units and campuses within 20 miles as needed
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as required
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and safety standards
