Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1780–$1910 per week
ER RN Job Details – Memphis, TN
- Location: Memphis, TN 38104 (Tennessee nursing jobs)
- Facility Type: Large hospital, Level 1 trauma center
- Assignment: Travel nurse (locum tenens)
- Unit: Emergency Room (ER)
- Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025 – End: 2/2/2026)
- Weekly Hours: 48 hours
- Orientation: 16 hours
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Current and active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience with prior travel assignment, or 3 years of ER experience without travel
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Level 1 trauma center experience preferred
- Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER setting
- Respond quickly and effectively to trauma and acute medical emergencies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Float between similar units and campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR system
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and travel nurse assignment requirements
