Seattle Nursing Job Details:
- Location: Seattle, WA 98122 (Capitol Hill)
- Healthcare Setting: Outpatient Cardiology Clinic
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel/Contract, Temp-to-Perm)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2060–$2200
- Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for permanent placement
- Start Date: October 27, 2025
- End Date: January 26, 2026
- Charting System: EPIC EMR
- Local Candidates Only: Must reside within 50 miles of facility
RN Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Compact License
- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient cardiac nursing experience
- Strong background in cardiology and cardiac patient care
- BLS certification required
- Experience with EPIC or similar EMR charting systems
- Proficiency in patient teaching, cardiac monitoring equipment (LVAD, cardio mems, EKG, zio, bardy, preventis)
- Ability to float between similar units as needed
- Willingness to convert to permanent placement if offered
- Proof of local address (within 50 miles of Seattle)
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
RN Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric cardiac patients in an outpatient clinic setting
- Support specialty cardiology clinics: ACS (LVAD management), Electrophysiology (EP), Afib (SCAN), Hypertension (HTN), and general/interventional cardiology
- Assist with structural heart procedures (TAVR, TMVR, LAAO, PFO/ASD closures, mitral/tricuspid clips, alcohol septal ablations)
- Provide patient teaching and follow-up care for cardiac testing and procedures
- Operate cardiac monitors and equipment (LVAD, cardio mems, zio, preventis, bardy, EKG)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care
- Float to similar units within your clinical skillset as needed
