Compensation

  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1830 - $1960 per week

Registered Nurse Job Details

  • Location: Issaquah, WA 98029 (Seattle-area nursing jobs)
  • Setting: Outpatient Clinic – SCI Breast Surgery Clinic (Oncology nursing)
  • Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel RN, contract nurse)
  • Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025 – End: 2/2/2026)
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekends or holidays)
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts
  • Float: Required to other clinics (First Hill and Edmonds; advance notice provided)
  • Charting: EPIC electronic health record (required)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Compact License
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic RN experience
  • Oncology nursing experience required; breast cancer patient care experience highly preferred
  • Ambulatory clinic nursing experience required
  • BLS certification (required)
  • OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification preferred
  • Proficiency with EPIC charting system
  • Ability to float to other outpatient clinics as needed

Outpatient RN Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric oncology patients in an outpatient setting
  • Obtain vital signs and perform comprehensive patient assessments
  • Assist with procedures, including dressing changes (required) and suture removal (preferred)
  • Prepare patient charts and conduct telephone triage
  • Provide patient education and support throughout the oncology treatment process
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including radiology and social services
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC
  • Float to First Hill and Edmonds clinics as needed, ensuring continuity of care across locations
