Forklift Operator (Overnight Shift) Job at ProAmpac in Granite City

Position Duties Include:

1. Operate forklift safely and efficiently, maintaining high production flow and quality standards.
2. Move pallets, skids, boxes, and materials, ensuring the integrity of items.
3. Unload paper from trailers, match roll numbers and weights to manifests, label, and locate in warehouse.
4. Finish and label pallets or roll stock materials according to customer specifications.
5. Relocate materials and finished goods using scan guns or computer terminals.
6. Weigh materials/products and record weights on tags or labels.
7. Complete loading sheets and requisition forms for shipping and manufacturing.
8. Perform daily maintenance on equipment, including lubrication, battery recharging, and gas tank replacement.
9. Use air hoses for forklift cleaning.
10. Change batteries when indicated, monitor equipment, and report malfunctions.
11. Follow all safety, GMP, and OSHA standards.
12. Perform tasks as assigned by management.
