We are looking for a skilled Certification Test Engineer to join our team in Huntington Beach, CA. This is an on-site position based in Huntington Beach, CA. Job Summary The Certification Test Engineer is responsible for developing and executing test lab planning, schedules, set up and conducting of developmental and certification testing for both Seats and Furniture. Test types include, but are not limited to component, static, dynamic, abuse, cycle and flammability. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

Essential Functions Set-up, conduct and monitor dynamic, static and abuse/cycle testing, including data acquisition systems Maintain test equipment and fixtures in good working order including calibrations, spare parts, procurement, maintenance etc. Read and understand test plans Read and interpret technical drawings Review test matrix and design test setups Design and build/oversee build test fixtures/platforms Create and maintain internal test facility manual, procedures, work instructions, etc. Maintain internal testing schedule Coordinate with engineers and other departments Keep up to date with the latest industry testing methodologies and testing equipment Monitor and document test results Review and write test reports May oversee test technicians Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar technical discipline is required Experience 0-2 years of engineering experience Skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Electro/mechanical background Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team Mechanically inclined (familiar with shop tools) Fluent in English (written, oral and presentation) Good organization and time-management skills Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Preferred Skills/Experience Portable CMM experience (such as FARO or ROMER arm) Knowledge of FAA/EASA requirements Script/Code writing CAD experience Other Must be able to carry 40 lbs Extended or irregular hours may be required Must be authorized to work in the United States Elevate Aircraft Seating is an “at-will” employer; employment is at the mutual consent of both the employee and the employer, and may be terminated at will for any reason, with or without cause, at any time during employment with the Company As business conditions warrant a change in the operating necessities of the Company, all employees are expected to react productively, handle other essential tasks assigned now or in the future Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at a division Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Compensation & Benefits Elevate Aircraft Seating offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity. Salary Range Transparency:
