DoorDash The Payments Risk team is seeking a Strategy & Operations Associate Manager to help reduce payment abuse costs and drive solutions that safeguard the integrity of our platform. In this role, you’ll develop a deep understanding of our three core audiences—Consumers, Dashers, and Merchants—and become a key resource for analyzing behaviors that may indicate risky or abusive patterns. You’ll lead investigations into high-risk activity, design data-informed strategies, and implement cross-functional initiatives to mitigate losses while maintaining a seamless and trusted user experience. They combine business context and analytics to take on a problem area and implement a customized solution. About The Role Establish and refine DoorDash's strategic approach to payments risk- work on the operations, engineering, and analytics needed to protect DoorDash’s audiences from bad actors Analyze user behavior across DoorDash's platform – complete end-to-end analysis that allows us to better identify the bad actors and improve the experience of good users Influence and engage across the company - partner with the product, engineering, and analytics teams to establish goals and build strategic programs Improve through experimentation – use data-driven decision-making to run tests in order to reduce risk while accelerating growth We're Excited About You Because… 4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, investment banking, analytics or related experience Experience leading projects, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment Strong communicator, both written and verbal Problem solving and analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL and expertise in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets/sheets) You have a bachelor’s degree Compensation The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.$98,600—$145,000 USD Benefits DoorDash cares about you and your overall well-being.
