Mechanical Design Engineer
III
at Interface, you will be learning the most advanced, high performance, and sustainable design techniques from discipline leaders on multiple projects. Your duties will include (but may not be limited to): Engineering Design Team: Participating as a critical member of a multi-disciplinary engineering and design team for a wide array of project types and sizes. Taking a leadership role under the supervision of a Senior Mechanical Engineer and/or PE. Performing HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing designs for commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, biotech, transportation, and other industries using Revit. Management: Working under the guidance of a Professional Engineer with project oversight, scheduling, task delegation, and mentorship. Project Tasks: Responsible to project managers for scope, schedule, budget, and discipline coordination for assigned projects. Client Management: Responsible for project task deliverables leading to client satisfaction and repeat business with assigned clients. Project Financial Management: Responsible for containing project costs, working efficiently within assigned project scopes. What You'll Bring: Required Bachelor's Degree - Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years' MEP consulting and design experience. Experience with HVAC load calculations and duct sizing. Working Autodesk REVIT knowledge Ability to organize your work and perform multiple functions in a fluid, multi-deadline operations tempo. Ability to work effectively within a team-orientated, collaborative environment. Excellent communication and time management skills. Live within commuting distance of our Honolulu office. Preferred Licensed Professional Engineer LEED Accreditation Working Trane Trace 700 knowledge Knowledge of building codes and standards.
