Senior Scientist NA Toxicology – Kenvue

Role Reports To: Manager NA-Toxicology
What You Will Do
The Senior Scientist position will provide Toxicology support within the MCSS team, driving the successful commercialization of all relevant product categories. The Senior Scientist will lead risk assessments for new raw materials and work closely with the R&D team to provide safety guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle. This role is crucial for maintaining high safety standards and facilitating the smooth progression of product categories through commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
Compile new ingredient toxicology profiles, safety clearances, and Chemical Product Safety Reports (CPSRs) for various projects Manage project trackers in area of responsibility Manage clinical and in vitro testing for projects within area of responsibility Present toxicology findings to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk assessment support programs for product registration based on innovative drug delivery technologies Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes to inform decision-making processes Required Qualifications
Ph.D. In Toxicology Minimum of 3-4 years of proven experience in scientific research and development Strong experience with toxicology assessments and critical thinking abilities Experience with scientific and technical communication Ability to handle multiple tasks / projects simultaneously and bring them to completion on time Self-starter with ability to think and act independently and to make sound decisions Desired Qualifications
Demonstrated track record of publishing innovative research findings in reputable journals or conferences Strong attention to detail Fast learner with a flexible style and the ability to adjust to changing business priorities What’s In It For You
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges: $100,300.00 - $141,600.00. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
