Provide in-house leadership and guidance related to water resources services and deliver projects for clients, focusing on stormwater work and growing HDR’s Stormwater Program visibility. Serve as liaison and coordinator across different sections and offices to deliver projects and proposals with innovative, standards-aligned approaches; work with project engineers to prepare planning-level and design-level documents including drainage reports and contract/bid documents. Collaborate with other design disciplines to provide integrated solutions and pursue business development opportunities. Manage projects and provide production support; identify and execute HDR services needed by municipal and utility stormwater programs in the Missouri and Kansas market, along with internal services. Participate in planning and/or drive business development opportunities; assist with recruiting; engage with professional organizations and present at conferences; foster relationships with local water resources clients and professionals. Lead comprehensive stormwater management and master planning; understand state stormwater regulations and manuals; apply asset management tools; design water resources facilities; address flood risk reduction and mapping; work on storm sewers and Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI); implement best management practices (BMPs) for water quality treatment; lead watershed planning; apply hydrologic and stormwater/drainage modeling. Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree PMP Certification Minimum of 10 years of related work experience, including conceptual, preliminary, and final design of drainage and stormwater projects Committed to quality, HDR values, and professional engineering standards Professional registration (e.g., PE or P.Eng) and experience managing diverse teams Experience with hydrology, hydraulic/drainage design, and stormwater facility design software Ability to lead and collaborate in a diverse multidisciplinary environment; strong communication, listening, and presentation skills Organized and mission-driven Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering 10 years related experience Minimum 5 years of project management experience Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the position location (e.g., PE or P.Eng) MS Office and MS Project experience (Access a plus) Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills Commitment to being an active participant in HDR’s employee-owned culture What We Believe & Our Commitment
