The Sr. Program Manager will play a leading role in managing a strategic project called “Energy Transition into Financials” for Commodity Insights. This person will provide dedicated program management support to improve penetration of our ETSS offerings into the financial segment. Reporting to the Head of ETSS Strategy & Operations, the role is centered around coordination and collaboration to deliver high-quality energy transition solutions to institutional financial clients. The Role The Sr. Program Manager will play a leading role in managing a strategic project called “Energy Transition into Financials” for Commodity Insights. This person will provide dedicated program management support to improve penetration of our ETSS offerings into the financial segment. Reporting to the Head of ETSS Strategy & Operations, the role is centered around coordination and collaboration to deliver high-quality energy transition solutions to institutional financial clients. Role & Responsibilities
Facilitate cross-functional teams to deliver a complex program on time, within scope, and on budget, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives. Develop and manage program plans, timelines, and milestones, coordinating across multiple projects and stakeholders to drive successful project execution. Monitor and report on program performance, using KPIs and metrics to evaluate progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Communicate effectively with executive leadership, stakeholders, and team members, providing clear status updates, escalation paths, and decision-making support. Drive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing best practices in project and program management. What We're Looking For
At least 10 years of success managing complex and/or highly visibility projects. Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in disparate groups within varying functions and divisions within SPGI. Highly organized, business-oriented, with excellent communication skills and an affinity for revenue generation. Pragmatic Marketing trained/certified or equivalent a plus Demonstrable evidence of process development and internal adoption with ability to drive projects to completion. This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States. Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $122,318 - $168,586. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
