Managing the delivery of scope and supply for each assigned Swisslog Retrofit or Enhancement project involving Automated Material Handling Equipment and Systems installed at warehouses of various Swisslog Logistic customers. Ensure all assigned projects are realized per defined processes, are delivered on schedule and within budget while maintaining customer-focus and high quality. Participate and contribute to monthly financial reviews for all assigned projects. Travel on average 50%, with peaks up to 75% depending on project cycle; domestic assignments with flexibility to stay 2–3 weeks at a time; some international travel may be required. Essential
BS in Mechanical, Industrial, System Engineering or equivalent engineering degree or relevant professional experience with automated Material Handling Equipment installation. 5+ years of Project Management experience managing automation systems installation, integration or maintenance. Experience in defining, procuring, installing and maintaining mechanical components, controls hardware and supporting infrastructure. Vendor management experience. Desirable
MS degree. PMP/PMI certification and other professional certifications. Working knowledge of Warehouse and Distribution equipment, Material Flow Control Systems, PLC controls and control logic (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), motors, motor controls and VFD drives.
