University of Minnesota . The Cardiovascular Division at the University of Minnesota has a regional and national reputation. The goal of this recruitment is to support current practice needs and growth as well as the expertise of adult congenital cardiology clinical care, teaching, and research. The division is recruiting a cardiologist to expand this mission as a member of the adult congenital cardiology program. The candidate will work closely with the leadership of the adult and pediatric cardiovascular divisions, cardiology service line, and Lillihei Heart Institute to expand the University’s adult congenital clinical and academic missions. Clinical efforts will include University of Physician clinics, hospital service, outreach clinics, and pediatric/ACHD Echocardiography. Responsibilities

Expand the mission of adult congenital cardiology through clinical care, teaching, and research. Provide clinical services in University of Physician clinics and hospital settings. Participate in outreach clinics and pediatric/ACHD Echocardiography activities. Collaborate with leadership across adult and pediatric cardiovascular divisions, cardiology service line, and Lillihei Heart Institute. Qualifications

MD or equivalent degree with high-level qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Internal Medicine or Pediatrics board certified or board eligible; Adult or Pediatric Cardiology Board certified or board eligible. Minnesota medical license required; Board certification or eligibility in Adult Congenital Cardiology. Experience in patient care management of adult congenital cardiology; clinical research skills; and a track record of publications and grant submissions. Experience supporting medicine post-graduate fellowship training. Ability to receive work authorization in the United States and maintain status per USCIS requirements. Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Salary at the University of Minnesota begins at $55,000 and clinical salary is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians. Total salary is competitive with market and based on AAMC salary benchmarks.
