Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking
Executive Chef
candidates who will dedicate themselves to this purpose by joining our team of culinary professionals. Candidates should have at least ten (10) years of experience leading high-volume, high-end kitchens. We are looking for culinary leaders with experience in preparing exceptional cuisine, coaching staff, managing high-end environments, and fostering a culture of excitement and pride. The EC oversees all culinary functions and must follow recipes, systems, and demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and team commitment.

We practice TRU Sustainability by serving only the highest-quality sustainable seafood, avoiding endangered and overfished species, and following Ocean Conservancy guidelines. Our Florida Stone Crab is sourced directly by our team of crabbers, and we source produce locally whenever possible.
Responsibilities
Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities. Modify menus or create new ones to meet quality standards. Estimate food requirements and costs. Supervise kitchen staff activities. Manage equipment purchases and repairs. Recruit and oversee kitchen staff. Address problems or complaints promptly. Ensure plates receive the final presentation touch. Perform administrative duties. Follow nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations. Maintain time and payroll records. Maintain a positive, professional relationship with coworkers and guests.
Skills
Proven experience as an executive chef (6-10 years preferred) Strong leadership and kitchen management skills Problem-solving abilities Delegation skills Excellent communication and leadership qualities Knowledge of current culinary trends and practices Familiarity with computer software (MS Office, restaurant management software, R365, Aloha POS) Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or related certification (preferred) Senior level
