ASCENDtials assists those in the BIPOC community in dismantling institutionalized Isms within the U.S. workforce by offering workshops that empower them. Our non-profit organization focuses on building cosmic consciousness through our experiential learning programs, healing sessions, and workshops, and environmental programs so that they can successfully advocate for humanity and the environment. Role
The Development lead will assist in overseeing all development activities and ensure our supporters feel recognized as vital partners. This position will create plans for and manage the day-to-day and long-term fundraising activities, monitoring the needs of the organization to ensure its sustainability. Responsibilities
Identifying opportunities in target markets for our organization’s products and services Doing research to find potential partnerships and opportunities to increase funding Arrange business meetings with prospective clients Developing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders Keeping up with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of corporate competitors Assessing client needs and the company’s ability to meet those needs Following up with new potential partnerships and opportunities Preparing status reports on goals Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc. Build long-term relationships with new and existing donors, partners Using customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce, to manage interactions Seniority level
