Sr. Systems Security Engineer / Cyber Security
with a Secret clearance to support a Navy client in Dahlgren, VA. Job Description and Responsibilities: Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies Ensure appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports Basic Requirements 10 years of professional experience with cybersecurity engineering with six (6) years of professional experience in relation to IT security with the DoD or Navy Experience with vulnerability analysis, risk analysis, SCAP scans, DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation, scanning for viruses and other detrimental software Qualified experience in accreditation of systems and audits Clearance: Secret (US citizenship required) Education Requirements:
Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent is preferred. Certifications: CISM; CISA; C ISSO; CISSP; CPTE; CySA+; SecurityX (formerly CASP+); CFR; FITSP-A; GPEN; GCSA; GSEC; GSNA; RCCE Level 1 Contract:
