Globus Medical is seeking a skilled CNC Associate Model Maker to support product development through prototype fabrication. This role involves bringing concepts to life from design through manufacturing, including testing, validation, and product introduction. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining machinery, including calibration and routine servicing. Key Responsibilities
Fabricate models, prototypes, and test parts using CNC and manual equipment such as mills, lathes, and EDM. Participate in design meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and improvements. Ensure all machines and measurement tools are calibrated regularly and comply with quality standards. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal operation. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist in developing manufacturing processes and tooling. Adhere to company policies, codes of conduct, and compliance regulations. Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in machining, tool & die making, or model making, preferably in the medical device industry. Proficiency with CNC and manual mills, lathes, and EDM machines. Experience with Mastercam or related CAM software is a plus. High school diploma required. Creative with a proven ability to improve designs. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, climb, balance, and perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Our Values
