This position leads Invesco’s Corporate Accounting Policy team, Private Markets Accounting Policy, and Investments Accounting. It involves strategic collaboration with senior leadership, providing technical guidance on complex transactions, and developing formal accounting positions. Deep expertise in US GAAP and financial reporting for financial institutions is essential. Responsibilities: Develop and govern Invesco’s accounting policies ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. Manage the Investments Accounting function for accurate reporting of investment portfolios. Oversee Private Markets Accounting Policy, evaluating new products and structures. Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and transactions. Coordinate with external auditors and industry standard-setting bodies. Lead efforts to implement new standards and regulatory changes. Prepare technical memos and enhance SEC filings. Mentor and develop a global finance team. Provide training on accounting developments and policy updates. Conduct research to support business and regulatory decisions. Promote a culture of control and compliance. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance. CPA required. 12+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience in Big 4 and public company environments, leading teams and managing complex technical issues. Expertise in U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and investment accounting. Additional Details:
